Hello everyone and Welcome to another edition of Metal \m/ Mondays!!!
This week I am looking at multiple angles, equations, architecture, rhythm, and so much more because of which drummer i picked.
Who do you know that is infatuated with the Magic Arts, who may or may not have set up his drums in the geometric form of a unicursal hexagram?
Danny Carey is the man. Carey is most famous for being the drummer for the band Tool. His amazing talent behind the kit ranges from, fast fills and feet, to ridiculous poly rhythms, being able to play in poly meters, odd time signatures, and besides from his outstanding technique, the ability to play numerous styles of music.
Carey endorses Sonar drums (signature snare drum), Paiste cymbals, Signature Stick from Vic Firth.
Stay tuned for more Metal \m/ Monday pics of Danny Carey!

Hello and welcome back to Metal \m/ Mondays!!!
After a week off and some outside influences, i have come up with the next chapter in this series.
I was watching the new Sabian “obsessed,” video with a drummer who i knew was great but really didn’t know too much about. This drummer might be 60 years old, but had absolutely no trouble with coming up with different and very great ideas.
In 1974 the drumming world gained another great. The Progressive Rock band Rush came about with a man named Neil Peart.
Neil started playing drums at the age of 13!
(endorses DW, Sabain, Pro Mark)
Aside from being one of the worlds greatest and most influential drummers a lot of people might not know but he writes all the lyrics for RUSH. And again besides being the drummer and lyricist  he write books. Peart is an avid adventurist, from trips to riding his motorcycle he takes his stories and memories and turns them into great selling novels and story books.
Peart has been in many magazines, tv shoes, videos, etc. He is one of the best out there and still has long time to go.
